Busy Year!

Hi Everyone,
I hope your 2011 has been filled with lots of good things - in personal life, work, and family! I have been so busy as a new mom that this year has just flown by. My baby daughter is now one year old and I'm finally getting the "work-bug" again. I have been so wrapped up in taking care of baby Brooklyn- and understandably so! Life as a new mom, as you may know, is filled with many days where a shower is considered a luxury and cooking a home-made meal for myself has been few and far between!
I feel like I now have a handle on this whole "organized chaos" thing, and I'm powering through! Here's a picture of my beautiful girl who is my biggest and best achievement in my life!

I just returned from Tahiti where I was shooting the adventure travel show "Get Out." It was an absolute blast. I shot episodes on Moorea, Huahini, and the main island of Tahiti. Description:
What I saw and experienced completey opened my eyes up to what an amazing and massive operation the U.S. Armed Forces runs on a daily basis. We have such brave men and women who risk their lives to keep our country safe, as well as to maintain the balance of power that the U.S. strives to keep. These men and women have family and children at home, yet chose to give all they can give in the name of their job and the Armed Forces. I visited 14 different base camps, and I have to say, there were some pretty intense moments while we were flying. Thanks for an amazing experience!

I participated in "Read Across America" today! I read to 5 and 6 year old kids at an elementary school in Compton, California, along with other actors and entertainers.
It was such a blast! The book I read was "Hunny Bunny Funny Bunny." So cute!
